I am so happy with the finished quilt! All the redwork emboidery is done by hand. While I was doing the embroidery I was slowly collecting red fat quarters in different values, I wanted the quilt to look a little scrappy. I am just loving everything about it! Especially the cute triangle border. I didn't do a label but am now thinking I should go ahead and make one.
Now I need to come up with a name for the quilt. :)
So beautiful, cute, and creative. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet! Did you have a pattern or if it's your creation are you selling the pattern?
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies!! I purchased the pattern. I have a link in a previous post to this pattern online. It is $8. http://homemadegonewild.blogspot.com/2011/05/redwork-quilt-work-in-progress.html

ReplyDeleteYou did awesome!
I saw this same pattern you used at a local Joann not long ago.
Precisely I stitched practically these same designs (from a different pattern) for a basket apron, that sadly I haven't been able to finish the construction of it, however all the stitcheries are done :-).
Just in case you will like to take a peek:
